God is writ in the bones and the flesh, the flaws of creation and its maintenance, and the glory thereof.

And in the weeping, a morning comes.

A departure from previous albums, including old-school synthesizer weirdness for the first time.

Sure, it's still guitar-controlled (often running in parallel with signal-mangled guitar, as usual), but...there's a sparkle and a whirl and a shimmer that is not normally found in my work.
